Motors, Metals, Minds & Music
As veterans we lose something when we leave military service. VETS has created programs to regain some of what we lost. We focus on camaraderie, team work, friendship, and reclaiming that incredible sense of purpose.
We take a hands-on approach by using motors, metals, minds and music to get veterans off the couch and into a caring environment where they can learn, be involved, and take charge of their own lives again. VETS Programs are offered in an alcohol and drug free space.
Our programs include:
Shop Day – where we work on cars, motorcycles, and anything mechanical to repair or customize it into a unique one-of-a-kind vehicle.
Metal Night – focusing on welding, machining, and bending metal to create tools, works of art, or repair broken things.
Peer Support Group –
with a safe, veteran only environment to heal and move forward in life.Music Night – making and listening to music is healing, so we offer a musical jam session, where veterans can hang out, learn to play a chord or two, or simply explore music and fun.
